  • Description

Grow your business with a powerful advantage, in the 50+ real estate market with the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation.

The 50+ market is not one market, it represents clients at very different stages of life, each with unique goals, concerns and housing needs. The course gives you the knowledge, resources and business-building strategies to better understand those needs, build trust with clients and their families and position yourself as a go-to real estate resource for the 50+ market.

This approximately 12-hour, self-paced online course goes beyond the transaction to explore the life stages that shape real estate decisions, from active retirement and relocation to downsizing, aging in place and transitions to care-focused housing. Explore reverse mortgages, tax considerations, risk management, family dynamics, technology, prospecting and building a trusted network of professionals to support your clients.

    What You Will Learn

    • Own the 50+ Market. Understand what drives this powerful market and turn it into new business opportunities.
    • Become the Go-To Advisor. Build trust and loyalty by guiding clients through retirement, relocation, downsizing and major life transitions.
    • Expand Your Services. Help clients navigate aging in place, care-focused housing, and technology that supports their independence.
    • Navigate Complex Decisions. Gain knowledge around reverse mortgages, taxes and other financial considerations that shape 50+ transactions.
    • Protect Your Business. Confidently navigate family dynamics, confidentiality, professional boundaries and complex client situations.
    • Build a Referral Powerhouse. Connect with trusted professionals and local resources to create stronger client support and new referral opportunities.
    • Grow a High-Value Niche. Master targeted marketing and prospecting strategies to turn the 50+ market into a sustainable, profitable business opportunity.

    Why This Course Matters

    • Fulfills the education requirement for the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation.
    • Helps you specialize in one of the most significant and diverse segments of the real estate market.
    • Gives you practical strategies for serving clients through major life transitions, including retirement, relocation, downsizing, aging in place, and moving to care-focused housing.
