AVAILABLE NOW! NEWLY UPDATED!
Due to the high volume of orders, we may experience brief delays with some shipments.
Manual for use by Member Boards of the National Association to ensure due process in the conduct of hearings to enforce the Code of Ethics and in the arbitration of business disputes arising out of the real estate business. Professional standards procedures of Member Boards must reflect substantively the approved due process policies and procedures of this Manual in order to ensure Board entitlement to coverage by the Professional Liability Insurance Policy of the National Association in litigation involving the Board in connection with Board enforcement of the Code of Ethics, provided that such policies and procedures are consistent with applicable state law.
For ease of reference, all amended provisions where content has changed are shaded to highlight additions.
This must have blueprint for board/association executives and board counsel. Also useful for members of the grievance committee, hearing panels and board of directors (or any real estate firm involved with an ethics complaint and/or arbitration request.)
Provides procedures for conducting REALTOR® association ethics and arbitration hearings. Includes sample forms, information on mediation, multi-association Grievance and Professional Standards committees, and Statements of Professional Standards Policy to assist in the proper application of the Code. Spiral bound.
NOTE: All new and amended Case Interpretations become effective upon approval by the National Association’s Professional Standards Committee and publication on NAR.realtor. The Interpretations are no longer found in the manual, instead they are found online only at https://www.nar.realtor/code-of-ethics-and-arbitration-manual/case-interpretations to ensure they are kept with the most up to date information.
